Cook, Serve, Delicious!

Platform: PC, Android, iPad
Released: October 8, 2013
Genre: Simulation

Welcome to my blog and welcome to my first ever review. The first game I'm about to review is called "Cook, Serve, Delicious!". Why this game? Well, because I like it. And that's the whole idea of this blog. You won't find any negative reviews here because frankly, who wants to sprend their free time on things they don't like? I sure as hell don't. So let's get to it.

Cook, Serve, Delicious is a weird style mix between a restaurant simulator and a speed puzzle game.
The simulator part of it involves buying and upgrading dishes, as well as deciding what's on the menu for each day. Each dish has it's pros and cons. For example certain foods will sell better or worse during certain times of the day.

Once you've decided on your active menu you move on to the hard part: serving your customers. While corndogs, pretzels and beer require only the press of one or two buttons to serve (and therefore are great to learn the game) you will soon find yourself struggling to add the right ingredients to your 3-star-pasta. Let me tell you, this game does not screw around. During rush hour all your mental and physical dexterity will be tested as customers flood into your restaurant. But isn't that the fun of it?

Overall I have to say, I really like this game for what it is. It has that certain charm of a simple and yet fun game that you just don't find so often these days. It doesn't have many levels, it's not an example of a diverse game. It does one thing and it's fun. Plus I really dig the elevator music.

Would definitely buy again.
